Lanark Amateur Musical Society (LAMS) have announced Cancer Research UK as their Charity Partner for their 2024 production of The Wedding Singer.
Melissa Reilly, LAMS President said “Earlier this year we very sadly lost our Director, mentor and friend David Dickman, after a battle with cancer. In David’s memory, we have selected Cancer Research UK as our next charity partner for our production of The Wedding Singer taking place in March 2024.”
“As we start the 6-month rehearsal period for The Wedding Singer, we’re very proud to be supporting Cancer Research UK in raising awareness of the important work they do across the country. We look forward to taking part in fundraising activities throughout the year and also working in partnership with the Lanark Cancer Research Committee”.
